Why I regret homeschooling every single day:
1️⃣ Too much time researching. There is ALWAYS something too research! We spend so much time researching, dissecting, and find new cool things to learn about. It doesn’t even feel like ‘homeschool’.
2️⃣ Too much time exploring. So many new adventures to go on and do that lights us up.
3️⃣ Too much to discover. Always learning something new and figuring something out. Sooo many lightbulb and ah-ha moments that happen.
4️⃣ Too many opportunities to catch midday activities, like an afternoon movie matinee without the crowd of people cramping my invisible bubble.
5️⃣ Lines are too short - things happen with virtually no wait time during the day.
Of course, there are so many more things I can put here. But I think the NUMBER 1 reason would be getting a FRONT ROW SEAT to it all. Not missing a single moment of those lightbulb instances. I’d rather it be too bright than be completely in the dark.

You can lead your tiny humans to knowledge, but you can’t make them think. 🧠
Usually, a break, to step away, to do something else is the best answer at the moment. So when you return, your mind is fresh and your perspective is renewed.
This ALWAYS works for us.
One year, Daniel couldn’t figure out regrouping no matter how many times I tried to shove it down his throat. So we simply closed the books for a few months on it. And when we returned? He FLEW right on through those same problems. Somehow someway unbeknownst to me, it clicked for him. And I think, ‘Who else could juggle all this?’ That’s right, only ME, because I’m not just good enough… I’m amazing! 🌟 #supermom #homeschoollife #homeschoolmama

That’s okay, I still celebrated myself on that day. No worries, catch the next one! I’ll try to remember yours!
It’s honestly not that I’m cold hearted…or you’re not loved…it’s that I’m busy and unbothered and think the best of everyone…and I assume everyone else does too.
I’m busy living life with those around me and my kids, day in and day out….and so are you.
Let’s stop with the “You find out who your real friends are…” type of posts. Your real friends are just busy.
They’re still your friend….they still love you…they’re just sleep deprived, working on themselves, fighting for their marriage, advancing in their career, fighting their own demons, raising babies, and dealing with life.
For the love of God, stop taking it personal.
